Kiwi Underglazes offer a broad palette of 50 vibrant, fluxed colours suitable for use on both greenware and bisqueware. Designed to perform well across earthenware and stoneware temperatures, they build from translucent to fully opaque with layered application and deliver their brightest results when clear glazed and fired at mid-range temperatures.

Kiwi Underglaze offers a full palette of 50 vibrant, fluxed colours. It is suitable for applying directly onto greenware or bisqueware. They perform well at both earthenware and stoneware temperatures.

Colour should be applied as thinly as possible, in layers, to achieve the desired effect. Application gives a translucent effect with 1 coat, semi opaque with 2 coats and opaque with 3 coats. Colour is brightest when clear glazed and fired to cone 4 or 5 (approximately 1180°C), but full glaze firing range is cone 04 to cone 9 (approximately 1050-1260°C).
