Saffron Orange

As bright and inviting as the spice it’s named after, this warm orange has a sunny disposition, perfect for adding a cheerful touch to your work.

Kiwi Underglaze offers a full palette of 50 vibrant, fluxed colours. It is suitable for applying directly onto greenware or bisqueware. They perform well at both earthenware and stoneware temperatures.

Colour should be applied as thinly as possible, in layers, to achieve the desired effect. Application gives a translucent effect with 1 coat, semi opaque with 2 coats and opaque with 3 coats. Colour is brightest when clear glazed and fired to cone 4 or 5 (approximately 1180°C), but full glaze firing range is cone 04 to cone 9 (approximately 1050-1260°C).
